To kick things off, Kitz will be cooking on Mother’s Day and making a traditional Filipino lechon. If you like pork and rice, you will be happy.

Our friend and sommelier Nikki Erpelding (instagram: @winegirl365) will take you through a side-by-side comparison of big bossy wines from the Piemonte region of Italy, including Nebbiolo, Barbera and Barolo. She will be pouring wines (2 of which are on our bottle list) from the Damilano family’s Estate vineyards. Damilano is one of the oldest wineries in Barolo, dating back to 1890 and Nikki will bring their history and winemaking traditions to life at Picnic. $35 for a few tastes of the juice, chef’s snacks and a good time.
